SV.STARUP-2019 Contest (students with startup ideas) hosted by Ministry of Education and Training, was launched in April 2019 for students nationwide. Students of Thu Dau Mot University took part in this contest with 2 projects and both ones were selected to the final round, competed with 66 other student projects nationwide.
Student group wins third prize with project "Fomol Quick Test Kit for Food".
In the final round held at Hanoi University of Technology, the project "Formol Quick Test Kit for Food" of Thu Dau Mot University students reached the top 10 and won a third prize. The project developed a convenient, quick testing sample kit, contributing to consumer health protection. This formol quick test helps quickly detect foods containing formol, protect consumers' health, help consumers to choose clean food, and food businesses to early detect dirty food before reaching consumers. The project will continue to develop other types of food testing kits.
The project "Smart control system of hydroponic vegetable garden" also entered the final round of IoTs Startup 2019, which will take place on 19 Oct at Riverside Palace, hosted by Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Zone.
